Herman Hesse : Siddharta
Herman Hesse : Steppenwolf
Herman Hesse : Demian
(Anything by herman hesse except the worthy-but-dull 'Glass bead game')
Thomas Mann : The Magic Mountain
Philip K Dick : The man in the high castle (I hear it's tipped for a Hugo )
Any other suggestions ?

@Festoon There are Philip K. Dick anthologies ? I thought you could only read his stories in Analog and 'Amazing Stories'. Weird.
