We still support "." (and will do for foreseeable future). The old "@" approach is being deprecated tho.

You get my text? I think the problem is that you haven't added Twitter as a source in LouderVoice.

I've just added twitter and jaiku as sources. Does LV periodically poll the RSS for each ? Will it pick up existing reviews from those sources or only new reviews ?

Should pick up old ones as long as they are still in the feed. Give it 20 mins or so.

    Yup. They're there now.

Now that you are switched over to the new system, I'll reassign all the old reviews you did to your LV account rather than the old generic "LouderMinis" account.

    Re-assignment done.

Twitter and Jaiku push to LV, right? LV does not scrape and pull the content in, does it?

LV pulls the RSS/ATOM. There is no way to get Twitter or Jaiku to push anything until/if they build some sort of ping service.

I can't see twitter, jaiku or any API-providing web2 service providing such a ping service. btw: According to the URL above Wii Sports has only been reviewed once. I know you and redmum have recently reviewed this too.

[ot] Can you post to LV in a RESTful or similar way?

Not yet. We are speccing our API in January with a few likely partners. All suggestions welcome either by email or here on #loudervoice

The "rated by" is the number of times the review has been rated rather than the item. We need to clean up our language there. Have had some user feedback that we should switch to the thumbsup/thumbsdown or "N users found this review useful" approach.
