Very nifty, I can just drag the bookmark for my note onto my FF bookmarks toolbar for easy access. Considering I rarely launch apps other than my browser these days this is very useful.
@runningwithbulls: I use ZuluPad at work. Very handy for my notes on the unit testing and software fixes I do.
@sxoop: I get the impression that you created this service, true? I guess the ones listed in the Google search I posted were not up to snuff. :) Looks like a nice service; I'll bookmark it. Just tried it on a mobile device and it loads up nicely. Great!
@sxoop: I get what you're saying. But it makes sense if you want to keep track of and edit the notes, and keep some privacy. But I like SelfNotes' simplicity and "use it now" mode. I guess there are (or were?) online word processing apps that allowed you to start without having to register. There are pros and cons to each approach. :)
I need a login to track all my notes. At the moment I have 1000 little text files in my Documents folder, selfnotes would be better for jotting things down if I can manage my stuff too.

Just a service for text notes? I use something similar (the guy who developed if called it NotePad on crack) - ZuluPad

No - html doesn't work [by design]. No formatting. No markdown even. It's the twitter of online notepads ;-)

Ok, nice. Simple, does what it says on the tin. I like that.
Is there at least an RSS feed output? That would be handy. All are publicaly viewable too, right?

@jezlyn. The other services require you to sign up. wft ? I just want to write quick notes and (maybe) edit them later.

@gortron - hold off on that. I don't think it's ready for prime-time just yet. Thanks for the thought though.

No problem, nearly got carried away. Cool app. I've added its URL to my own app 'Yell if it changes' to let me know if any site updates :)

That's really cool. I've a thirst for light-weight no-nonsense applications at the moment and this fits that bill perfectly.
I likes.
