    I agree with one exception. The Twitter SMS number is UK-based, meaning I can send free texts to it. Other than that, Jaiku rocks.

    Hmm, I thought there was some issue with Twitter using Manx Telecom which didn't count as free on some networks in UK.

    In any case it's 21c for us Paddies for both Twitter and Jaiku (or it is on my Voda package)

    I like your thinking Walter. Let's get Pat, Damo and a few of the others over here. I guess a blog post is the only way to get their attention in the absence of Twitter?

    T-Mobile charge 17p to send tweets because they consider UK islands to be "international", but Orange count it within free text bundles etc. Haven't tested Jaiku-SMS with Orange yet.

    @conoro - meteor international sms 15c, package aimed at foreigners phoning and texting home, bagged me a sim. both twitter and jaiku need an Irish SMS number or an irish gateway to relay sms to uk / finland
